Jupiter GRS Jan 19th 2014

The weather continues to frustrate here in soggy UK but managed an ok image on this night in average-ish seeing.

Agreed, beautiful image with lots of detail altitude must definitely be on your side if that was average seeing.

Btw, which frame rate do you use on the 5L?

Thanks for your comments guys! The elevation was 59 degrees Eric which makes it so frustrating because with good seeing I was hoping for a real knock out image around opposition but alas we are now 3 weeks past and still no sign of the weather settling down.

The frame rate for the red mono was 90fps and 60 with the colour cam thanks Camelopardalis. I've been reining in the frame rate some what by using very low gain (30-40%) as higher frame rates were producing too much noise.

I've done a animation which I will post on a new thread.
