Mounting a Coronado SolarMax on a TV Gibraltar

Getting back into it after a six year break.

I've picked up a Coronado SolarMax 60, and naively thought it would slip right onto my TeleVue Gibraltar mount. The holes all line up, and I assumed I could use the bolts and wing nuts from my TV101. But I can't get the bolts out of the TV101 clam shell so I need another solution.

The clam shell bolt holes on the SolarMax appear to be 6mm and camera tripod compatible?

Any ideas for a source of bolts and wing nuts (or better - something like Bob's Knobs) that's easy to mount? Camera store? Bunnings didn't seem to have much.

Any input much appreciated ... before the cloud clears!

I believe the threads on the clamshell are 1/4 UNC, same as most camera tripods.

I did a little more investigating in the man cave. I hadn't realised but the bolts in the TV clam shell are about 22mm, and come out with an allen key. They slipped right into the SolarMax so that's sorted. I'll just source some more of these bolts so I don't have to whip them between each scope.

Thanks for your reply.
