My wife's the same, as was just about every other woman I've ever hung around with. I suspect that is why there are so few females at astronomy clubs.

I'd be surprised though if after 20 or 30 minutes of pitch black other than for stars, you didn't see more than at the three minute mark. Though it's often darn hard to do nowadays.
