Saturn 31/03

Hi everybody,

I had hopes last night for a great seeing....it wasn't. The blue channel as usual is not too good. The jet-stream me think ....

Anyhow....here are two of Saturn (out of many) one with higher scale.
I really need to address dew-control.... hairdryer upsetting the local dogs....

Cheers,
Mick

Nice images Mick, Saturn is a lot harder than friendly Jupiter and we should all get plenty of practice this season.

I like it Mick.... it is refreshing to see a genuine Enke gap without it being swamped by processing artifacts.

Thanks guys..... yeah, re processing... very tempting to 'overcook' when the seeing is not nice to try to bring out a more 'attractive' image. Always a balance about artistic presentation and science me think

yes Mick very few of us get the chance to add to the science sometimes luck plays a large part and of course you have to put the hours in
