Solar shenanigans

Its been a rather epic weekend for solar astronomy, things are beginning (seemingly) to be hotting up at long last with plenty of prominence action and active zones clearly visible in CaK.

I've installed a pier in the Solar Dome, and am quite amazed at how much it improves the stability over the tripod - and that's very handy when trying to hand tune Ha scopes!

Thanks, I'm getting quite excited about the prospect of an end to solar minimum!

And yes, the aircon unit is permanently attached to a vent in the wall - nice to have an icy blast on a hot day with the scopes
