130 degree experimental Super-Star-Portrait

A good Fri-Night at Currumbin, nice location, little light pollution to the SW.
A lot of moisture, dripping wet ground, good thing for Dew-Straps.

For the curious, 4 landscape panels stitched vertically.
9 x 20sec each, F2.2, iso4000.
6D II, 20mm, Tripod, no tracking ..

Notes: some residual gradients and artifacts, expected with sky stitch.

Hope you enjoy this view.

Its very nicely done. The Sky has a touch of magenta in it. I wonder if you can get it more neutral by reducing magenta to a charcoal colour.

Greg.

Yeah that is better but still a bit too much blue/magenta in the sky colour.
There is a phenomena called bluing where when the light intensity drops there can be an excess of blue in the image from Photoshop curves/levels tools.

Its something to watch for not that your image is that blue but you often see nightscapes with a bluish night sky and its an artefact or a false representation of the night sky which at a dark site is a charcoal.

Greg.
