Abell 43 Planetary Nebula

Abell 43 (PK36+17.1). NGC7094.
Apparently it has a weird central star that pulsates.

Taken at Savannah Skies.
HaO3RGB image.

Thanks
Tim

Not seen that one before. Wonderfully delicate, intricate innards. Beautifully done.

The universe continues to provide unique and interesting objects and this one is no exception, be interesting to see this with more FL - well done!

That's pretty cool Tim. You've got some really good details there. What FL are you at?

Thanks Mike,
Yes, it's small. I remember that advert fondly!
Cheers,
Tim

Thanks Andy,
Yes, I agree with your comment about the universe!... I saw the news report today about the impossible black hole collision!
Cheers,
Tim

Thanks very much Marc,
FL is 4750mm.
Perhaps these small objects are sometimes better imaged with a webcam like planetary imaging, but this one is quite faint - not much signal with RGB at all.
Cheers,
Tim

Gotta love PNs and the small stuff most imagers ignore .

I personally find PNs fascinating - far more interesting than cloud expanses. I’m still hunting a particular extender so I can at least image them at f/8 rather than my usual rather optimistic f/5.3

Great detail, Tim, especially considering this PN is only about 50" across!

Fine image

That's a terrific image Tim.

You got a lot of detail in that tiny planetary.

Greg.

Thanks for for posting Tim. New to me & one of the more intricate & interesting PN's. Nicely captured.
Cheers,
Tony

Your stars are incredibly tight and your field looks great. Not sure if you'd benefit from lucky imaging. Not on that particular shot anyway. I have tried a webcam on small things like the trap, bug nebula and other smal blighters and it seems beneficial on bits that are relatively bright. As you say it would be challenging on this. I'm still to experiment.

Great work Tim. I am also fascinated by PNs though one needs the long focal length such as your to get in close enough.

Thanks very much Rodney,
Yes, the long FL helps a lot, but of course makes the tracking / guiding more challenging....

Cheers,
Tim
