Stepping rings

It seems that different eyepieces have different thread sizes. I am trying to find a stepping ring that would make it possible for me to attach my canon t2 ring with M42 threads to connect to the APM hdc eyepiece that has a M44.5 thread.. so i’ll need a M42 to M44.5 stepping ring.. where do i find this in Australia? Or is someone able to custom design one?

You'll find stacks of them on eBay. Got mine from there years ago. Cheap too. They typically come in spindles all screwed on M/F and F/M from M25 to M79 or whatever you require.

Yes.. there are plenty of stepping rings on ebay.. but the specific M42 - M44.5 isn’t.. in fact, all the stepping rings, including those for baader hyperions are very specific and are not on ebay!

Joshua could make you a custom adaptor:

He made a custom adaptor for me - very professional and highly recommended.
