How much dust can I capture?

Lately I have been doing a fair bit of Ha shooting, and with the moonless nights and my shift changing to nights next week I thought it would be a great time to try to capture some dust! I have imaged M42 before, but the images I have seen since with vast amounts of dust intrigued me.

I set everything up hastily and started exposing, I have shorter exposures on the computer to process but this is all I can manage at the moment. I only managed 3 10 minute subs for luminance and 3 5 minute RGB subs binned 2x2.

I hope you all like it, and tomorrow I will add one with a nicer core!

Nice shot Peter.

You have brought out the dust well.

Ross.
