Ring around the moon this evening

Just looked up at the moon from Nelson bay and noted the ring around the moon caused by retraction of the moonlight through ice crystals in the atmosphere.

Pretty cool.

Not a great piccie, just an iPhone grab and unprocessed but interesting as it’s a perfect halo
