ngc 3372 & 5128 through 150ED

These are the last two, probably enough for one night

ngc 3372 is 10x2 minutes at f/5.2 with L-Enhance filter
ngc 5128 is 9x5 min at f/8 with IDAS D2 filter

NGC3372 is excellent, pinpoint sharp.

I was considering a galaxy last night too, but I think it was a bit warm and bright here and I'm still not sure of the guiding.

Thanks Elliot. The warm nights aren't ideal for us dslr users but I'm happy how the Carina nebula turned out.

Thanks Tony. Imaging hogged the focuser this night but I'm keen to do some visual with the scope. I tested it visually and the optics look very good - not too shabby for $2000 on sale. After this imaging night I decided it's a keeper so it's been added to the signature

Thanks ;Carina is my best image so far I think, a happy accident between the correct length subs and learning a bit more about processing.

I've tended to go for longer subs to get fainter nebulosity but maybe that's not the best option for bright stuff.
