Eyepiece recommendation

I have recently purchased a TS 90mm APO F6.3 triplet.
My only widefield eyepiece is a 28mm Skywatcher LET that came with the 200mm F5 Saxon Newtonian I also own. My two other eyepieces are 82 degree 11mm and 14mm ES eyepieces. I also have a 1.25” 2X Barlow. Can anyone recommend a suitable widefield eyepiece as an upgrade to the LET?
Is it also worth getting a 2” Barlow?

You could usefully add some approx 7mm, 5mm and 3.5mm, either as Vixen SSW's or one around 6 and another 3-4 (ES eyepieces).

Personally prefer not to use a Barlow.

You don't say what you can afford so can't help

I would only say 2" all the way where possible

Assuming you are happy with the performance of your 82* ES eyepieces & owning a 30mm ES 82* myself which I love, you might consider either the 24 or 30mm ES.. Works in all my scopes (f5 Newt, f6 refractor & f15 mak).. folk will argue that there is better out there & probably there is but, not in my budget calculations..

Agree with Jeremy, go with 2" for widefield low mag EPs, although having said that... the only other 2" EP I now own is a Meade UWA 20mm (similar to the ES series)... other than that I use Vixen LVWs in 22/17/13mm which are 70* AFOV & technically 2"/1.25" but, the 1.25" barrel still acts as a field stop..

Extremely happy with my Vixen LVW's but, these aren't made anymore so, tough to get hold of...

If your budget is unlimited then, maybe Televues are on your horizon?

There are quite a few good EP in that range, but it's not clear what you want from that upgrade. Better quality of view (field curvature, astigmatism etc), or just wider view.

APM/SkyRover Ultra Flat Field 70/30 - APM is just re-branded SkyRover from Aliexpress.
Baader Planetarium Hyperion Ashperic 72/31 & 72/36
Celestron Luminos 82/31
Explore Scientific 68/34 & 68/40
Explore Scientific 82/24 & 68/30

Counting on the long focal length 1mm difference in exit pupil is not that critical you can have anything between say 24mm and 40mm.
