I used the Orion Starshoot III last night and all was fine.

I am out again tonight in perfect conditions for Lulin and this is what my camera is doing to all my shots!!

Anyone seen this before? It is ruining all my subs!

You haven't got a cable carrying power of any sort running in parallel to your cameras signal cable at all? Even for heaters?

Glad you have perfect conditions down there - it's as cloudy as hell here!!

Chris, you need to come around here mate. I will provide the beer, you bring me a valium.

YUP! That's what it was mate. I moved the cables and problem has gone away. Wow. I have never seen that before.

Thanks mate, you are a life saver. I am now snapping away at Lulin with 3 minute exposures....

LOL! Glad to hear you're OK Barry. There's nada worse than signal noise. Keen to see your results!!

Now - if the problem was a cable running to or from your heater controller - the controller is a noisy one...
