Venus in inferior conjunction

Sunday afternoon (Central European time = late night AEST) I saw Venus 5 degrees northwest of the Sun with my Genesis as a very thin crescent. I used Nagler 13T6 (38x) and it was, despite its low elevation (16º) crisp and clear. But the transparency was not very good a little haze and cirrus.
Did anybody see Venus the last days ?
