85% Waning Moon Last night

To much moonlight for DSO imaging, so took a few images of an 85% waning moon crossing the meridian
6” f6 newt
Canon 600D
ISO 800
Captured on BYEOS Planetary mode
Stacked in Autostakkert 3
Processed in Registax 6

1/ Prime focus
2/ 2 x Powermate
3/ 2.5 x Powermate
4/ 4 x Powermate
5/ 5 x Powermate
6/ Longomontanus Crater (5 x zoom with 5 x Powermate)

Seeing conditions were ok last night for lunar imaging

I know lunar imaging not everyone’s idea of AP but thanks for looking anyway

Thanks Alex
I like to try and image the moon as its seen from space ( a lifeless celestial object orbiting our planet without any real diversity of true colour )
The Apollo astronauts in lunar orbit did see shades of browns, greys and chalk type colours depending on the solar angle , their altitude from the surface and the shadows cast across the surface , but generally it’s our natural satellite devoid of any real colour
Some people like to display images of the moon as seen through various conditions in our atmosphere ( blood moon , blue moon etc... ) but unfortunately not me .....
My 2 cents .......
