CWAS-Elivis Festival -Parkes NSW-Observing Day at The Dish
Hello The Parkes CWAS had a great Day at the Dish on Sunday the 15th of Jan 2017.As Part of The Parkes Elvis Festival People Travel out to The Dish -I got these shots earlier in tyhe Morning.As the morning went along the place was Packed .Plenty of people looking through our scopes -We had a Coranardo PST setup up later -1 80mm refractor with thousand Oaks fILTER- 200MM REFLECTOR WITH Badder Solar filter.80mm refractor with Badder sloar filter-80mm refractor with Lunt Solar wedge.8inch SCT looking at Jupiter later Venus - Skywather 100ED refractor on Alpha Centauri the venus.Craig the Cook at The Dish Cafe provided an Excellant service with food and drinks.Things eased off by 2.30pm we packed up at about 4pm.reguard's Tony
