Solar activity 8th Dec 2019

Usual set-up - SM60II/ED80/ ASI 1600MM

Couple of faint proms and a "ridge" on the surface.

I'm trying the inverted "look" for the faint proms - feedback welcome.
The linear surface feature lost definition when colourised...
Edit: Added a "standard" processed prom for comparison.

Thanks Martin, appreciated.
These faint proms are not the easiest of targets.
Good practise - focusing - tuning - processing.

If that's the 4th image, with black disc, then I think it's wonderful and prefer it. Even better might be might be integrating it (the 4th image) with something like the a colourised version of the type in the 3rd image.

Best
JA

JA,
Thanks for the feedback.
The first two images were the inverted "option" - to see if the proms appeared any clearer.....
I accept doing a composite of the surface and the proms looks good. I've tried it in the past.. will give it some thought.
