30 March. Not a great deal of features on the Sun today, but I managed to capture a few between clouds. There was a large but faint prominence on the NW limb near AR 2811 and 2812 (1st pic) and a few more together on the SW limb (2nd pic). Both single exposure images with a Lunt 100 Ha scope and Canon 550d camera.

Hi John a very nice set of images of what is happening on the Sun at the moment. The proms are interesting even on a quiet solar surface. Good practise for when our star really fires up, hopefully soon. Thanks for posting.

There's always something happening, every day, that's what makes solar observing so different to any other astronomy observations.
