Question on spacers

Hi guys, have not tested this yet, just thought if anyone knows.

I use eos 1200d for photography and have 2 eos T rings, one by itself to use with 2 inch spacer and the other with a 1/1.4 adapter to use with right angle diagonal for comfort instead of being on my knees when changing camera settings.

Will there be a image difference between the 2 methods and does the image falling on the chip same size. Reason is when processing through Deep sky stacker, there is a more brighter washed out central circle. Unless I am imagining things. I do not use any filters and the camera is modded.

regards
Kon

The brighter washed out part of the image I assume is with the 1.25 inch fitting and it is called vignetting. It is because the diameter of the spacer is insufficient to fully illuminate your camera chip. I would stick to the 2 inch fitting.

I would be inclined to agree with Peter Kon.

Cheers

Thought so, I have a 2 inch diagonal as well, is there a attachment available to attach the T ring to the diagonal so I can use my 2nd T ring.

Diagonal cannor reach focus

Hi all,
tried my 2 inch diagonal with the new 2 inch T adapter last night. Problem now is It is just short of reaching focus. I use my meade 6.3 reducer as well. Is there a 2 inch diagonal which have shorter tubes either at the eyepiece end or attachement end.

Regards
Kon
