Astroimaging Using new Sony AR7

Hi all,
has anyone tried using the new Sony A7R for astroimaging? Apparently it does not have the optical low pass filter (OLPF) and should therefore be more sensitive to red/IR light.
Cheers Grant

I have a standard A7r I use for nightscapes. A beautiful camera and the 36mp Exmor full frame sensor is the best around.

Low noise. I think it would be good overall.

Greg.

I have a Sony A7s which I sent to America to be modded.
I've only had a chance to use it once then I had puter problems so I wasn't able to view the photos.
Hopefully I'll be giving it another run this Sat night.
