A flattener for fsq-85

Looks like an interesting accessory for those considering to use fsq-85 with a larger sensor: http://www.takahashiamerica.com/blog...or-the-fsq-85/

Looks pretty nice but I've got my eyes on a FSQ150 when it comes out

Well, as much I would love to join the Tak VIP club, my current 4" triplet seems good enough for my purposes, so my thoughts keep gravitating towards either a 10" reflector (RC or Newton) or a 5"+ refractor. But most importantly, hopefully the new location will soon allow me to use what I already have more often!

FSQ85 = 3450 ($US without taxes and shipment fees)
FSQ106 = 5350
FSQ130 = 13,460
---
FSQ150 = 25,000 (my estimate)
FSQ200 = 73,000 (my estimate)

Any takers?

The FSQ130 came out a few years ago now so the FSQ150 May hit production in a decade or two

I haven't seen any good images with an FSQ130 yet. The owners must be very shy.

An AP130GTX with the quad corrector giving F4.5 or so may well be better than an FSQ130 but of course its all fun speculation.

Greg.

I’ve seen one person post some images with a FSQ130 and Nikon D810A at full resolution. The AP with Quad Corrector will be good but whether it has <5 micron stars 22mm off-axis is another thing.
