which version of the Carina/Keyhole nebula?

I've run up around 9 hours on the Eta Carina nebula complex now and have been experimenting with different treatments.

Wanted to test the gangs views on preference for these vary different colour palettes 1) red-green, 2) ochre-blue

Why not combine them both? To me #2 looks anaemic and false coloured, I prefer #1

I'm with Nik, #1 reveals more detail.

Thanks all. Well it confirms I guess there's a lot of subjectivity in this game. I'm working on version 2 at the moment and will see how I go.

well I worked more on a version of 2 but one based on separate Ha/OIII extracts from APP combined in StarTools and finished in PS and loaded up a final on astrobin for what it's worth so if you want to see the full res version http://https://astrob.in/g4vn4y/B/
