lost pixels?

Hi, I woke up this morning and noticed the beautiful red sunrise that was happenin' and I thought I'll go to the nearby Dudly beach and take some pics.
Everything was going fine but then after taking some pics I noticed in the screen a blank spot and was wondering how this could happen as the sun hadn't broken through the clouds yet?

here's some of the pics .......
my pics

if you are refering to picture 9, you have picked up a reflection in the lens of the camera, and it was overexposed. because you were taking a picture of some other source much darker the camera adjusted for that exposure, and the reflection of the brighter source made the image overexposed in that area. i can't see any other problems with the other photos?

yes thanks h0ughy that's about right or it could be what my Powershot A400, canon user guide says "Light from the flash may have reflected off dust particles or insects in the air when shooting at a wide angle end"
