First time I've imaged this in the full frame camera. Seeing was pretty poor. The Sutching mirror could not quite reach its potential. 30x live view though makes for getting focus bang on. 10 inch f5.6 EOS Ra, 6 x 15 mins ISO 400.

Hand guided as usual.

Would love to see what my set up could do under a really dark sky.

Thanks. I was really happy with the tracking, being able to keep the highly magnified guide star sitting right on the virtual reticle. Sharpcaps incredibly accurate Polar Align function means very little dec corrections needed, which helps too.

Fantastic image Scott! I can't believe you are still hand guiding! We should computerise our Samsons. They are still a nice heavy duty mount.
