Nikon d3200 First Light

Ok, so I purchased this camera cheap as my back up camera...and I thought it looked cool .
Anyhows, I couldn't help but noticed there is almost no astro pic sample shots out there or info other then non owners putting there 2 cents worth saying it can't be good blah blah. So- I thought I'd rip out my EQ 5 mount tonight, do a rough polar align and do a few random shots in and around Scorpio. I used an intervelometer set t 45 seconds and 1 minute lenths and roughly positioned where I thought I might find some interesting stuff. These are in a suburban street backyard with a fair bit of light pollution. I used an ISO setting of 1600 and shot through a Long Pern ED80 refractor. To add to the challenge I used no stacking, no raws, no auto guider. Just mildly tweaked curves in Photoshop (about a minutes work using auto in curves) in JPG. Given all these handicaps .. I think this camera has potential...enjoy.
