An interesting comparison

I was looking at my FSQ album thumbnails and realised my set of images captured so far with this new outfit are all un-cropped full frame 4deg X 4deg field images, so you can compare the relative sizes of the objects I have imaged so far...just thought it was cool

The Carina Nebula doesn't look that huge now and the seagull is really quite big...

FSQ Album

I know what you mean, sometimes I prefer wider fields of open clusters as it helps give them a place in the universe

I was just looking at the relative sizes of each object, that's all, not how big the field was, we don't often think much about it

Mozaics?... ...did someone mention mozaics...

5 new versions of M42, Simon

PS. Interesting comparison, Mike. I love how easy and stress free things are at 3.5 arcsec/pixel too!
