Impact of scratch on filter

Any idea how much of an impact a scratch on a filter will be. One of my filters on recent Astromart purchase was scratched in transit.

Image attached. Scratch is white mark at top just left of center.

No big deal as seller is sending me a replacement but just curious how this would impact images. Its on side facing incomming light.

Try it and see.
I can't see that it would make much difference for pretty pic imaging.
Any deformity should flat field out. A tiny bit of non filtered light would pass but would not be important for color imaging. Even for science imaging the results should be fixable with colour transforms.

I would try a touch-up with red permanent marker.
