Bahtinov mask

Hi There
Can't get intouch with Mike ozstockman (Mike) regarding getting Bahtinov masks made up. Can someone advise me. I have a C8 focal length 2000mm but i image via a 6.3 focal reducer that make my scopes focal length 1200mm.

There is a site where you configure your own mask and download the template http://astrojargon.net/MaskGen.aspx?...ookieSupport=1
but david is not replying at the moment.

Do i configure my mask to suite 1200mm or 2000mm focal length?

Cheers Carl

Hi Carl
I have sized and cut out on stiff cardboard the attached Bahnitov mask.
I was previously using one that had much coarser cutouts but I find that the new one with finer cutouts seems to improve the sharpness of the Bahnitov star image. I made ones for both my 200mm RC f8 and 80mm f6 refractor and they work fine on both.
Cheers Peter
