Prom on Sun 28 Sept

28th Sept 2016. It has been cloudy and rainy in Central Victoria for a few weeks. Managed to take this image today of the Sun's NE limb. It shows a nice group of prominences and filament. Single exposure with a Canon 550d camera thru a Lunt 100 Ha scope (SS). Patchy cloud and wind made it difficult but after weeks of little action this was better than nothing. Thanks for viewing. Cheers, John W.
