Set up for tonight

Here's my set up for tonight's session. I'm glad it's cloud free for now as next week isn't looking good. Going to get more subs of something I've gotten before, see how that turns out.

Look at that blue sky in the background. At least that's what I think it is

Shame. Looking at the mudgee forecast on CFN it was right on the edge but easterlies probably ruined the night.

I tried to do some imaging on Monday night and last night after nearly a month of cloud and rain and the damn moon was washing out all my images
The biggest problem I have is the limited view from my backyard, no view from southeast to west below 65deg and a big 12metre pine tree in my east view
Hence I couldn’t get out of the moon’s line of glare. So I gave up and practiced some EQMOD goto functions using sync points and some visual obs on the moon
I envy you guys who have clear 360deg views from horizon to zenith, you can image so many objects at all times of the night and early morning
Friday nights looking better as the moon is rising later

Here’s my set up in Sydney
Cheers and clear skies

Nearly a month; I wish; just over nine weeks since I had a usable night.

Thanks Karl for the kind offer
I have my holiday pad down the south coast near Ulladulla which is fantastic compared to Sydney, better views ,no pollution , no trees and really dark
I have my 12” GoTo Dob down there
Being a retired grand pa now you think I would have all the time in the world but not the case , always busy with the kids and grandkids and the wife is still working
So I really enjoy my time down the coast every once in a while ( my little piece of heaven)

Cheers
