For the past couple of months (since about June 20), I've noticed that the days are getting longer and longer. If this trend continues, in about 6 to 8 months time, the Sun will be up for 24 hours a day, never setting!

I'll bet Dunn Solar Observatory had noticed this phenomenon, and the US Government had to shut them down to avoid them spreading the news, causing a world-wide panic.

"Sunspot Solar Observatory is transitioning back to regular operations as of September 17th"
http://aura-astronomy.org/news/news.asp?newsID=389

It seems it may have been something far less exciting than aliens or Planet X:

"AURA has been cooperating with an on-going law enforcement investigation of criminal activity that occurred at Sacramento Peak. During this time, we became concerned that a suspect in the investigation potentially posed a threat to the safety of local staff and residents."

(Of course, if you wanted to hush up an imminent alien invasion, blaming it upon a routine criminal investigation would be the perfect cover! )

What I think
With the cuts to the budget by the trumptards
this telescope is of no further use so they secured it firstly in case protesters decide to occupy it also there is valuable equipment which must be secured so it is not removed.

Julian, you got it backwards, they were seeing the days get shorter and shorter, they thought by Christmas the sun would be gone for good.

@GrahamL "I've been sculpting this shape with my mashed potatoes for months now "
For this joke alone the whole hubbub was worth it! Brilliant!

Next up: what do you make of the story of KIC 9832227 not kissing in the year 2022 minus 1845?
It's very mysterious that they decide to refute the nearing date but give no alternative one from new calculations/models, don't you agree? I think they are covering up an imminent big bang.

Just checked and that's ok, I won't get sunburns. It's behind my neighbours' clothes line.

Now it's claimed it was a child porn case:
Revealed: Truth behind FBI’s mysterious evacuation of Sunspot observatory

A simple case of one man downloading child porn ...

Requiring the FBI.
And a Blackhawk helicopter.
And the site to be evacuated.
And workers climbing structures.
And absolute secrecy.

oh and the nearby town to be evacuated too...and the post office to be closed down.

Last I looked child porn on a small scale would have been local jurisdiction (a child porn ring would be FBI jurisdiction if it was across multiple states).

I'm gonna call BS. Utter BS.

Governments obviously think we're stupid (well most of the human population is what I'd considered braindead stupid, so perhaps they are right in their assumption).

Sunspot, New Mexico - Population 80, 35 residences, no schools, Post Office basically handles the observatory's mail. I suspect most of those 80 residents are observatory staff and their families.

We all love a good conspiracy story, but sometimes, the answer is much simpler.

If you are a small, isolated community, and you have a disgruntled staff member (implicated in a significant crime) making veiled threats about serial killers, evacuation is probably a pretty good plan.

"After Cope could not find his laptop, the court documents said, he began to act frantically and told the chief observer that there was a “serial killer in the area, and that he was fearful that the killer might enter the facility and execute someone.”

The observatory closed, without consulting FBI agents, after Cope’s comments about the serial killer and his erratic behavior, the warrant said."

Dave, haven't you watched the 10 minutes walk-about around the campus on youtube ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AVdVBvSjcU
It's not a "town", it's a bunch of cabins and 2 telescopes on a hilltop, that's it. The "post office" staff was 1 woman.

Interesting follow-up, Julian, thanks

Well... the plans for the destruction of Syria go waaaay back.

Former (NATO) Supreme Allied Commander Europe, US General Wesley Clark talks candidly about the Pentagon being tasked with it back in 2001.

Note the discussion with respect to the justification for it.

In the extended interview he reveals how the US uses mercenary / terrorist proxies to destabilise the governments of countries targeted for regime change. (his own words)

Then go to the wiki page for the "Yinon Plan"

The term Yinon Plan refers to an article published in February 1982 in the Hebrew journal Kivunim ("Directions") entitled 'A Strategy for Israel in the 1980s'. The article was penned by Oded Yinon, reputedly a former advisor to Ariel Sharon.

Here, I'll give you more food for consp.theor., pertaining to the developments before the Syrian civil war began.
It's not a civil war.
It is a proxy war using mercenaries and terrorists funded, trained, armed and protected by the US, UK, France, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Israel.
Even though the mainstream media wont touch this with a stick, it's well documented in the public record.

Ask yourself this; How would it be possible for ISIS to survive 5 years fighting Syria & Russia without sponsors and logistical support at a state level?

Where is the last place in Syria where Al Nusra, Al Queda, ISIS et al are holding on to territory?

Idlib of course.

Where are the so-called 'moderate rebels' holed up?
Errm, that would be Idlib.
funny, that.

Quote:
No idea, why it was so important for Israel to prevent the Assad-EU connection in 2008/09. But they did it. Possibly in alignment with the US-deep-state who feared Obama's different approach was going to jeopardize their longterm strategies in the middle East.
Langley is first and foremost an Instrument of Israel.
The long term plan is to Balkanise the middle East, reducing any potential adversary to rubble.

There is a lot more to it however.
From a larger perspective, the US is targeting Russia for trying to extricate its economy from the Petro-dollar scam and reliance on fiat currency (ultimately) controlled by the BIS (Bank of International Settlements) ... NM Rothschild ~ if that needed to be pointed out...

Incidentally, do a search on the oil company "Afek Oil and Gas"
You will find that the parent company is "Genie Energy"
Its board of directors include Rupert Murdoch, former directer of the CIA (Woolsey), the primary campaign financier for Netanyahu, and of course, Rothschild.

Netanyahu granted exclusive oil rights in the Golan Heights to Afek Oil and Gas.... that's southern Syria, by the way.

You can see the problem there?

best

your Rothschild-insinuation is antisemitic.
There's no need to look for a jewish conspiracy when you're looking for US or others' motives to protect Israel. As I said: the security of the State of Israel is raison d'ętre for the state of Germany. There. That's all it takes.

It escapes my knowledge about other states' fundamental Israel principles but it's possible that others have this as well.
Nothing wrong with this motive form the perspective when it was first established.

However, by the hands of a sinister, undemocratic organisation like the CIA, and BigOil, too, the US is responsible for a lot of ****.
Current Germany, too.
Our raison d'ętre openly subsidises the Israelian purchase of German-built submarines. The German blueprints particularly allow for the addition of nuclear warheads; the addition COULD be made impossible but... raison d'ętre etc etc. So, you see? It doesn't require a Rothshild on the board of a BigOil company. There's perfect reason to publicly support Israel - and traditionally with very questionable means, as well.

I don't understand it .. that pathological need for a jewish conspiracy.

The people whose names you throw in are simply very mean individuals. Why do they have to be foremost "jewish"? That's ridiculous and idiotic. Plus it is ousted as antisemitic. It's Nazi speech and Nazi thought. It's racist.

I saw that Democracy-Now Interview with Wesley Clark a year or so ago. Very enlightening, that list of countries to be destroyed by the US?
But that CIA "is first and foremost an Instrument of Israel" is rubbish. Racist rubbish, to be exact.

The US have conspired with Saudi Arabia over oil, as well, since the 50s. When Carter doctored the peace between Israel and Egypt in '79, Saudi Arabia was not amused. And Israel wasn't amused by US-friendship with S-A, whose kings and population are still a well of hatred for Jews.

See? CIA is not a tool of or for Israel. It's not as simple. If you insist on explaining it the simple way, you forego important aspects. Ignorance, let alone racist ignorance, isn't constructive for change.

"for trying to extricate its economy from the Petro-dollar scam and reliance on fiat currency "
Ah. Then it will create a little turmoil that the EU Commission is thinking aloud about exactly that for the Euro, as well ^^.

Change is possible. But not with an idiotic racist world view as foundation for possible actions. Germany's population is growing weary of the weapon support for Israel, as well. "Security" can be supported by non-military aspects, too. Funding of IBM's anti-corruption-software in Israel's administration would be a nice thing to strengthen Israel's security (could make Bibi quite angry, too, which would be very nice to see :p ), or funding for NGOs working towards the 2-state-solution and civilian bonds between all nations living in Israel. And so on. For the time being G will still subsidise submarines. But probably not for long.

Let's see which wars climate change will bring to the region. And whether or not all the ethnic nations will realize how they need to cooperate to tackle that problem.

Well,
Point of fact, I didn't actually criticise Israel or Jews (my family is actually Jewish)

The things I pointed to are all in the public record by their own admission.

fwiw)
Rothschild / Wall street money backed Hitler.
Prescott Bush was actually found guilty during WW2 of facilitating it.
Moreover, Rothschild was given the opportunity to save eastern European Jews, iirc) it would have cost him something like $2 a person but declined.

So I can't for the life of me understand how pointing out his shady dealings constitutes antisemitism?

Incidentally... the Rothschild family aren't semites.
They are Kahzars of German extraction, and the historical family name is Bauer.

I didn't actually make a single reference to the fact that these individuals are Jewish.

fwiw) Here are some links to articles published in the Jewish Israeli media (amongst others) saying exactly what I pointed out.

Yes, about that...
Destabilising Syria is not about protecting Israel.
Were you aware that Israel has completed over 200 unprovoked bombing missions in Syria during the last 18 months, in complete violation of international law?
from the Jewish Telegraphic agency:

Damascus international airport targeted:
https://www.jta.org/2018/09/16/news-...mascus-airport

Going back to 1967:
On the taking of the Golan heights by General Moshe Dayan (The Lion of Zion)
"I know how at least 80 percent of the clashes there started. In my opinion, more than 80 percent, but let's talk about 80 percent. It went this way: We would send a tractor to plow some area where it wasn't possible to do anything, in the demilitarized area, and knew in advance that the Syrians would start to shoot. If they didn't shoot, we would tell the tractor to advance farther, until in the end the Syrians would get annoyed and shoot. And then we would use artillery and later the air force also, and that's how it was.''
https://www.nytimes.com/1997/05/11/w...the-golan.html

Going back to 1948:
Here's Menachem Begin (Mieczysław Biegun)
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...srpnu_1948.jpg

Note the poster in the background showing the boundaries of "Greater Israel".

Quote:
"Eretz Israel will be restored to the people of Israel. All of it. And forever."

^^^ They're not done yet.

How was Begin regarded by other Jews?
Here's a a letter signed by Albert Einstein, Sidney Hook, Hannah Arendt, and other prominent Americans and several rabbis which described Begin's Herut party as "terrorist, right-wing chauvinist organization in Palestine, "closely akin in its organization, methods, political philosophy and social appeal to the Nazi and Fascist parties" and accused his group (along with the smaller, militant, Stern Gang) of preaching "racial superiority" and having "inaugurated a reign of terror in the Palestine Jewish community".

https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/New_P...ment_Discussed

Were these guys driven by Antisemitism in warning about what they considered to be a truly dangerous political movement? Clearly not!

The Irgun terrorist movement ceased to exist in 1948. At Menachem's direction the fighters were absorbed in to the newly formed Israeli Defence force and he went on to found the Likud party which has dominated Israeli politics since the 1970's. (becoming the Prime Minister twice)

Was the Irgun created to defend Jews?

To answer that, consider this propaganda poster of the Irgun, circa 1931:
https://riversong.files.wordpress.co...gun-emblem.jpg

The inscription translated from Hebrew reads:
Only Thus (by force)

Think about the date for a second... 1931...

Here's a close up:
https://kickasshistory.files.wordpre...rgunposter.jpg

On the subject of using the "anti-semitism" term.

A Semite is defined as being of the blood of Shem (Son of Noah).
S(h)emites by definition, therefore include Akkadians, Phoenicians, Hebrews, and Arabs.

I would have thought that if the descendants of Eastern Europeans (who's claim to Judaism is that their ancestors converted to Talmudic Pharisaism some thousand years ago) ~Khazars~
...IF, hypothetically, those guys were to bomb Arabs in Syria (blood of Abraham) without a damned good reason, well, that would genuinely constitute antisemitism, No?

fwiw) My Israeli friends and my Jewish family don't consider my understanding of Jewish history to constitute racism or antisemitism.. most of them don't actually care too much for the intrigue. They are happy to lead normal lives.... So I am pretty confident that it is not a conspiracy which fairly defines all "Jews"...

That being said, some of them are really not pleased about what is being done in their name.
