Saturn Moon close

Noticed a bright star next to the moon tonight, it's Saturn. Both just fit in the field of view on my 10" f4.7 newt.

Nice - really shows the difference in scale from planet Earth.

Good detail on both bodies.

Cheers

Thanks guys, it was one of those lucky unplanned moments. I looked up at the moon and saw a bright star next to it so I set up the scope for a closer look and then grabbed a few shots with the camera. I had to over expose the moon a bit to bring out Saturn but a thin crescent moon is very forgiving.
