New 225mm Solarunigraph and 408mm Newton

Hello,

last year in 2020, I rebuilt my solar instrument, the 225mm Unigraph. It was placed at a height of 5m from the ground onto the extended balcony. For space reasons, I use a classic Schaer system with two folded beam and secondary optical unigraph path. The optical performance corresponds to the original setup without any losses. Unfortunately, the solar activity is currently very low. As a result, not many observations could be made in 2020.

408mm Newton:
As a telescope for the night I use the newly built 408/1908mm Newton with carbon tube.
The performance on the moon is good, although not many lunar observations have been made under good conditions.

Pictures of the sun, moon and telescope can be found under my new homepage:

David, thank you for your answer.
I developed the solar telescope over many years. It showed me the best pictures of the Halpha sun. However, it is very challenging to build as it contains a lot of necessary optical elements. These must be very precisely adjusted. I am preparing to build a 12inch instrument. Unfortunately, I have so far lacked the appropriate catadioptric telescope.

any details of the optical layout? is this a spectroheliograph or is the H alpha filtering by etalon or other filter system?
