Corrector Plate

I've noticed some ' swirl ' marks on the outside of the corrector plate on my MN56.

How would you best remove them ...??

Hi Col,

A wipe with either a well-washed cotton hankie, or the circular wipes women use for removing makeup - dampened with distilled water.

Wipe radially centre out (or in) - not in a circular motion, and no scrubbing !

If the mark doesn’t come off you could use a drop of detergent but have to clean up with distilled water after, the thing to avoid is getting it so wet water ends up inside as well.

Water is an enemy of coatings so don’t obsess over a minor mark - leave it until you can’t bear it.
