Oh man, I can't quite believe it but the coverage has been somewhat unexpected. ISS transit photos aren't uncommon but it has resonated with many people which is wonderful to see.

It's been featured on 7 news television, ABC radio and online, 9MSN, Yahoo, CBS, The Weather Channel (USA TV), The Daily Mail, Gizmodo and even Huffington Post!

My phone has been beeping incessantly for days.

I have to hand it to IIS forums, the first technical publisher to feature the photo and my first post that wasn't in the beginner section. Thank you so much everyone.

I'm very impressed on two levels. Number 1...you got the ISS, and number 2...it's a damn good picture of the moon!
Thanks for sharing.

What a spectacular image. Even Chris Hadfield has got in on the action, sharing the picture on his Facebook page:

Wow!!! Great clarity. The photo and size of the moon compared to the ISS really puts the sizes into perspective.

Fantastic image Dylan, not surprised it has been shared around the world. The space station is so clear in it. I just noticed ESA have now shared it on their Flickr page. Well done mate!
