Hi Astro,

I haven’t used one yet but it is on my Santa’s list. Seems to me to be a great combination of standalone benefits of DSLR Astrophotography with the gains of Laptop control. I will also note though that ASI are not the only ones doing this but yes they are easily available.

Trevor Jones from astrobackyard on YouTube has done a review on it. I follow his work closely as he has and still does use a DSLR and Photoshop for processing which is where I’m at.

I strongly feel like it will be my next step forward unless anyone can suggest to me otherwise.

Cheers

Ryan

P.S. - Astroanachy has them cheaper

I use the current one and it is a great tool, the guiding is a little hit and miss at times but when it all works its a great kit.

There are some units in testers hands for a couple of months now, I think ZWO will be shipping after Chinese New Year.
