SkyGuider Polar Scope LED

Hi guys,

Hope everybody is enjoying starry nights in spring.
I have a question that might seem silly but after reading all the menus and searching through YouTube I’m unable to activate the polar scope illumination in the SkyGuider. I really wish there was a mobile app to control this thing instead of those 3 buttons that do different things at different times.
How do I know whether the pole scope led actually works?
And how do I get this thing turned on?

PS: while I have a polemaster I really don’t want to introduce a laptop to this rig and keep it as simple as possible.

Clear skies!

Max

So, I asked the good people at the AAS and now it works a charm. One needs to loosen the clutch and rotate the pole finder scope until 12 sits up 90deg. The led is not visible in other positions rotated around due to the small opening at 12 that lets the light into the scope to illuminate the reticle.
A very simple answer actually
