I have 3 plate glass blanks for sale. Good condition. Had hopes of grinding my own mirror so the 10" x 1" plate has been bevelled slightly (about 2mm) just enough for me to realise how much work was involved. And that was the end of my mirror making.
Soooo much respect to all you mirror makers out there. I wish i had the patience.
The Blanks are:
200mm (8") diameter x 19mm (3/4") thick
254mm (10") diameter x 19mm (3/4") thick
254mm (10") diameter x 25mm (1") thick
And enough grinding and polishing powders for a 10" mirror.
I paid a little over $300 for the lot. Asking $100.
Buyer to pay postage.

Reason: image uploaded, price reduction.
You can use one of the blanks for the grinding tool. I was considering using the 3/4" thick one for this.
I believe the 8" glass could also be used for the 10" blanks tool as the tool can be smaller than the blank. Cant remember the size difference tolerance though. (I think this is mainly for larger mirror grinding. To reduce cost and physical strain on yourself).
You can however make your own grinding tools out of glass/ceramic tiles and dental cement or something similar.
