I'm guessing that isn't portable. It's the entrance to a purpose-built underground shelter.

Ok not a Portaloo but a Long-drop toilet.

Hi Eric,

In the event of a thermonuclear exchange, be sure to take your balls with you into the shelter.

No that's it. Just that volume. There are around 3-4 scattered around the tennis complex. Pick them up with a crane and relocate if they need to.

They are open. All crowd in and slam the steel door and shut with a basic steel lever.

In some parts of the country they just leave large concrete water pipes around for people to dive into and hope the mortar/shell/missile doesn't explode in line with the open end.

At the moment we would hope the "All clear" came quickly. 35 deg and maxed out humidity - Israel's been in a heatwave for several days now.

In that event, that little shelter won't help a bit. All of me would be toast! I'd need the shelter under my office building - we can live there self-contained for probably 24-48 hours (apart from getting hungry).
