NGC2467 Season!

Yep, it looks like it eh!

Here is my own feeble attempt compared to Lee's, but still pretty pleased considering my earlier teething problems. And first light from our new home in Tamleugh!

Still frustrated by not being able to autofocus the camera, will need to look into the ASCOM workaround. And i need to tape the edges of the mirror to remove those extra spikes.

The framing is perfect and the colours are great.
Once you sort out your focus you'll get a flatter fov.

Nice colours, Simon. I think I might have a sore eye from the sharp edges of one of those bright stars though

Nice work, Simon! I like your FOV, it's nice to give targets some breathing space... mine feels a bit cramped, but I don't do mosaics and my sensor is tiny. Your colour and processing is very nice too.

Thanks folks, haha Rick, good one.

Yes i do like this setups FoV but alas the lack of focus control is bad. Am waiting for my beta access to the ASCOM wifi workaround, but i'm not far away from abandoning the Sony i suspect. Yet again i saw a friends QSI683 sub of the cone neb and nearly cried!
