About a week ago I had a go at some lunar imaging, intending to capture some RGB data of the Apollo 17 landing area. With the moon only 50 degrees above the horizon and the seeing very variable, I ended up with only the R channel being acceptable.
Good resolution and contrast considering elevation and seeing
Well done !!
Here’s my pitiful version November last year with a 6” f6 newt , Canon 600D and a 5 x Powermate ( 1200 avi frames stacked in Autostakkert 3 and sharpened in Registax 6 ) on a night of poor conditions
That's a more than acceptable image, could almost imagine that it was taken from the Landing Module on the way down, very nice focus and detail captured.
