Emu Lurching for an Apple

Snuck out a couple nights ago to exercise the 6DII & Sigma 20mm 1.4.
I also done some arm-bending driving up the Mountain twisties & setting up the tripod - Complying to Covid capers

Happy with this nightscape from Beechmont SeQld with Mnt Warning in the distance, lower-right behind the white light.
Composite image with 10 x 12sec for the Sky & 3 x 20secs on the foreground.
6DII, ISO3200, Sigma Arts 20mm @ F/1.6. slightly cropped.
No moon, so was quite surprised with the light from just the sky onto the foreground, benefits of the high dynamic capable camera.

Hope worth a Squizz..

Beautiful capture. That's a lot of light on the chip for 12 sec subs.

Thnx 'Heater', Yes stacking 10 subs improves the Signal-to-Noise ratio allowing more 'stretching' of levels in post

Thanx Phil, yeah, the scene works, plenty of Depth & leads the eye etc, a Lunar Crescent should help further next time, hopefully out there again after this coming New Moon ?
Cheers...

Appreciated Rodney & JA, I enjoy the wides and catching locations better compared to a permanent mount & Rig, just way too much for this duck.

Thnx
