Rising Milky Way

Here is a pixel shift image using a Sony A7r3.
Pixel shift takes 4 images and moves the sensor 1 pixel for each image so you get 2 x green, 1 x red and 1 x blue.

It gives a bit more richness to the colour and reduces noise and increases sharpness.

Very nice Greg .I was in Brisbane recently talking to the Camerapro people and they are all taken with the A7iii.Moreso I think with its Video aspects .They felt it exceeded the A7sii in lowlight.

A7iii seems to be very good for astro as well, very low noise. I have the A7r3 which is the 42.4mp camera.
