Great segment Trevor, congrats, well deserved

Like others i haven’t been back here to comment on threads for some time, but it feels like a bit of a family, recognising so many names from years back, and brings back great memories and emotions of amateur astronomy and discovery.

Hi Trevor,

Really enjoyed watching your story and journey.

It really showed your passion for amatuer astronomy and I am sure a lot of others would concur and feel the same way.

Great work

Great story.

Something about the objects in the night sky that have fascinated humans since they could bend their necks and gaze upwards. There are not many species of animals that do this for no apparent reason or survival motivation.

Something about those massive rings of Saturn too. It doesn't feel naturally right that planets can have ring-like discs circling them - but they do, and we keep "gorking" at them.

Great story Trevor,

I watched it & enjoyed hearing your story & your passion

Have to say, Saturn gets me everytime... never tire of gazing at that planet, my first look through an 80mm refractor blew me away; my views through my recently acquired 8" SCT just blows my mind completely...

Keep up the good work...., your story might just inspire the next generation of amateur astronomers

Very enjoyable piece Barry You look to have an astronomically good location there in Broken Hill, some lovely night sky filming by CH9 too. I was just at JPL in May myself, with some mates, on a two week astronomy road trip to Texas and LA and it was a great experience.

Good luck with those LOTO numbers!...aaaand expansion of the observatory

Mike
