A few more shots

These were taken a couple weeks back on the Mak I had all single shots and was playing around with a focal reducer to see what would happen.
Easily can see that it made the stars in the Orion pic blow out yet the other two are good.

Not sure of times subs were taken maybe around the 20-30 sec, ISO was at 1600.

Hey Karl. Yes the core of orion is blown out but there are beautiful colours in the nebulosity

Your other pics have nice colours in the stars too.

When I get a chance at Orion again I'm going to lessen sub times to keep the core blowing out, what pics I have of it the core is blown. I want to capture all the gas if possible, I'd say with the Newt I'll get Nair al Saif and 45 Ori/c Ori as well

Personally ( and I'm happy to be corrected ) I'd drop the ISO and keep the sub length up. It's a balance and I have no idea what the newt is like but it's just what I do with targets with bright cores.
