Synscan PC link cable

Hi everyone,

My HEQ5 mount didn't come with the cable that connects the hand controller to a PC (for flashing the hand controller firmware). I understand it is a DB9 serial to RJ11 cable.

Can somebody tell me the pinouts for the cable? Is it a straight cable or is there some electronics at one end for some form of signal level conversion?

If you need a serial to usb Adaptor try this one it has a FTDI chipset !

Thanks for the info Cathy. I actually already have a FTDI USB to RS232 cable that I have used in the past with EQMOD but it has a RJ45 connector. I think the easiest solution is to make a RJ45 to RJ11 adaptor cable.
