Question Telescope - moving home

Hi All,

I have a precious classic telescope that I am considering moving with me to my new house. However as much as I don't want to part with this baby, I have to think whether I will have enough room and if it is practical to do so.. If not I wouldn't have a clue where I can sell anyway? Any ideas and thoughts? I've had it for a very long time now so not sure how much it is worth?

Any help (or interests even) would be much appreciated!

C-11, 80mm Pentax Reflector, 80mm Floride Reflector, mount in Pentax MS-5

whats the problem with packing and moving? where are you moving to? sounds a bit like a system I heard of in Sydney a while ago, would be odd if there were 2 (all the equipment was about 20 years old?)

yep seen that before, and without trying to be smart or offend, last I saw the drive softaware is well out of date and the computer running it obsolete. This Im sure can be overcome, what its all worth depends on how much someone wants it. Its all about 20 yo from memory, me I love older stuff...... others like new stuff and warranties Why not move it if you have room, I might even come down to help you?

Wait a little if you want imo ,,some of this gear is quite rare and not often on the market...no idea of value but I'd certainly ask a few others before selling .

can you show a better pic of the three refractors beside the large scope , the mount sure is large and impressive ,, those white pentax scopes though .

What are they Roger ?

If I'm not wrong this thread is relevant. Follow the link to the pic on gum tree. Though listed as sold the pic is clearly the same as supplied here by the OP.

What's the story?
