NGC2736 Herschel's Ray in Bi Colour

NGC2736, Herschel's Ray, sometimes known as the Pencil, (but if we must use common names, I think the historical allusion is best!) in narrowband bi colour.
Consists of 11x15min of Ha, 15x15min of OIII so total of 6.5 hours of data.
Details are

Scope: Celestron Edge HD 8" with 0.7 reducer and Moonlite Hires Stepper focuser
Mount: Orion AZEQ-G with EQMOD
Camera: Atik One 6.0 with Astronomik 6nm Ha and OIII filters
Guiding: Atik GP on OAG with PHD2
Acquisition Software: SGP
Processing: Calibrated, stacked, cropped and all post processing done in Pixinsight. Final crop of This JPG version in PS CC

Maybe a tad noisy though, as always more data would benefit that.

Thanks Andy.As always a battle between finding time to image it and getting enough data. The Ha is where most of the noise is coming from, so really needed some more data, but weather and a slightly recalcitrant laptop put an end to that! I could knock out a bit more in processing but the target ends up looking soft.

Really nice Malcolm. Considering you got it with a 8” SCT and small chip, I always thought it was a bigger object but it fits perfectly in your FOV
