Well, I really wanted to watch it at my beach, but it was nice online too. I mean - better than nothing.... I have taken photos of the screen haha, yes, photos, not screenshots.... They seem to have turned out fine.
I could hear the rain outside while watching.

OK, DESPITE inclement weather and pervading clouds I managed some shots off Mt Albert. Excuse the quality as it was shot through clouds.

Windy as blazes, I threw away dozens of blurred images

Hi everyone. Got a couple from Buderim on QLD's Sunny Coast. Will post once i find my card reader! Cloud threatened all afternoon then pretty much cleared at 5ish. Much more pronounced redishnish through camera and/or scope than by eye.
Very red in Brisbane. Clouds cleared, mostly. My position was quite bad for the peak of the eclipse, but I managed to run around the neighbourhood and see it. Have a mix of pics to process.
Only one I've done so far is one with the Moon, Mars and Spica:
Expecting nothing, I was pleasantly surprised to get a 5 minute glimpse of the Moon about 50% eclipsed here in Dunedin. Enough time to set up the 60mm for a closer look. It really was better than nothing.
