Or, you could have just looked at the info bar on the right of your header that says Join Date: Jan. 2009.

You take the hard road, I'll take the easy road, and together in the middle we meet

Very true Paul. I'm pretty sure I'd be still pottering around with eyepieces checking out messier objects by eye without IIS. Not that there's anything wrong with that - I was seeing lots more than my old 4" reflector showed from city skies anyway.

Instead I was quickly hijacked by astrophotography - but very aware I've been "standing on the shoulders of giants" to have as much fun in 6yrs as I have.

Thanks so much Mike and Mods.....

Sad mate. I hope there's still a bit of Rumples left inya!

Coming up for eight years here for me. Knew nothing about forums, thought it was a dating site. Never worked out how to unjoin so I'm still here.

May 2010, Blimey !! Don't time pass ...

I have to say thanks to many of you guys. I would never have even started some of my projects and builds without the examples and encouragement of folks on here. It's been a growth and learning experience in many ways, not to mention the friendships that seem to keep this forum together.
May it ever continue and special thanks to Mike and his moderators for their stirling efforts.
